Scarce - Worldcat brings up only 8 library entries, and none appear to be substantial set.
A good set hardbacks with calf leather to spine and corners with red and black morocco labels with gilt and raised bands to spines. With cloth covering boards. Covers are scuffed, bumped, and worn, with some of the hinges strained. Around half of the inner joints have been strengthened with cloth tape.
The text pages are bright and clean. Vol. VII covers have the remains of old sellotape repairs, both internally and externally, now removed. With illustrated plates. Minor flaws such as occasional page edge tears or annotations should be expected. Far from perfect, but good to find such a comprehensive and uncommon set.
Text principally in English, with some French.
Weight approximately 5.6kg (the set unpacked).
Dimensions: Each volume approximately 220mm high x 143mm wide x 22-36mm deep.
